A fantastic sustainable addition to the SAB skirts. Jess wearing Mild Mind, photography by Kate Frost.
The fabric is a little more structured than the regular lycra so the shape has been adjusted; the skirts are cut with less drape at the back, and they're a little shorter all round with less variation in length. Designed to sit just below the natural waistline.
It's hard to find dancewear fabric that supports eco-friendly production, so I'm delighted to include this sustainable techo-fabric made with ECONYL® - an 100% regenerated nylon fibre.
ECONYL® fiber is made of pre and post-consumer waste (nylon scraps / fishnets and carpet fluff). Needless to say, the fabric is more expensive, hence the higher sale price. But if you want to do your bit for the environment, this is the skirt for you.
Approximate lengths according to waist size. If you'd like an alternative lenth, just let me know.
Remember, the "waist" size should be measured where you want the skirt to sit.
