Two layers of gorgeous lycra, made from a regenerated yarn called ECONYL® - the sustainable option.
The fabric is amazing quality. It's a little bit more structured than the silky and the matte regular lycra fabrics we use, so the shape is slightly different; it's boxier with less drape, which works particularly well with the reversible skirts where you don't want too much bulk.
The waistband is a narrow foldover elastic which ensures the skirts looks perfect whichever way round you choose to wear it.
Marble is black, white and grey - perfect with black (photographed)
All sorts of colour and pattern combinations are possible.
It's hard to find dancewear fabric that supports eco-friendly production, so I'm delighted to include this sustainable techo-fabric made with ECONYL® - an 100% regenerated nylon fibre.
ECONYL® fiber is made of pre and post-consumer waste (nylon scraps / fishnets and carpet fluff). Needless to say, the fabric is more expensive, hence the higher sale price. But if you want to do your bit for the environment, this is the skirt for you.
