Celine is an interesting shape made up of two panels of plain chiffon with one panel of contrasting colour sunray pleat. Checkmate is handmade from black and white regular chiffon fabric (ie not the iridescent cationic chiffon).
 
The full effect is a cirle and a half's fullness, and the pleated section adds real drama to this unusual style skirt. The shapes you can make in movement are limitless; the colours will really vary under lights as they work together.
 
The fabric has been hand pleated in the Sunray shape: a graduated accordion pleat, pleated in a semi-circle, starting off very small at the hip and getting bigger closer to the hem.
 
Waistband is black elastic.
